i had a group interview today at safeway. it was pretty fun. first it would seem i overdressed and because of this for my next interview i will need to come up with another suit/tie combo… which probably wont happen. in any case it went rather well i think. first we did some group activities which reminded me of the ones we used to do at school… in year 3. “there is 4 problems going on at the same time you need to sort them out in order of priority” our group had some guy who burnt himself on a tray of rolls he took out of the oven whome i affectionatly called “burning man” and some chick who ordered a cake but we forgot to cook it, a dude who wanted saltana cakes from the catalogue but we were all out and a delivery of bread at the back door. we decided the man on fire to be priority one, the ordered cake girl as 2, the catalogue guy 3 and the bread 4.
after that we did some “aptitude test” which they stated have no right or wrong answers but really they did. with statements like “its ok to come into work high on drugs” i would fair a guess that they wouldn’t employ anyone who circled “strongly agree”.
so now i have to wait until they ring me again to have another interview one on one. hopefully it will be after i get back from looking after dads or i will have to work something out.
speaking of which, i slept at my house last night and it was the best sleep ive had in ages. i really miss this place. i mean sure its small and smells terrible, especially now because of the dirty dishes that have been sitting there unwashed for 2 months. but mess or not it is my home.
