kill will

6/29/2005

last night will anderson was doing a show, i happened to have tickets so i went along. it was money well spent. for a good hour and a half i was in stiches with his heavily scripted, quite crude humour. not only that but i bought the ross noble dvd after work yesterday so i watched it for a bit as a warm up. as a whole i do prefer ross noble as his humour is much more random and he can manage to do a whole set on a couple that happened to walked in late. that said, will anderson did make alot of fun out of the local bogans in lavington, which was good to hear. all in all it was money well spent, and now that i have a job i can afford to spend it! BWAHAHAHAHAHA.

friday night live

6/24/2005

fridays are awesome at work, because even if it sucks, its a good day because its friday. im about 25 hours into tales of symphonia, i should finish by this weekend, pretty good game albiet very predictable. the battles though are very fun, much more fun in fact than any turn based or “ATB” battles that other rpgs offer.

my humps

6/20/2005

so today sucked. in fact i’d go so far as to say it was my worst day at work and all because of one little thing. the server that tracks the warehouse inventory and does invoicing and has basically everything on it was down (being rebuilt from scratch in fact)… for the entire day. this means all the computers and various items had to be tracked on paper or in an excel spreadsheet. it’s amazing just how much things suck if the main computer system is down. between the 4 of us we managed, but it was crazy hard with people ordering more and things being missplaced or written in the wrong place. whats worse is that tomorrow i’ll probably get the job of inputting all the data that we got today, into the server.

i believe in some sort of god(s?), you may be surprised. but seriously he(they?) seems to have a special place for me since whenever its time to ride to/from work the rain stops (more special that those he makes ride to work in the rain) . it hasn’t been just one day but many. last night, for example, it was raining all night and it stopped miracously when it was time to ride to work, it then proceeded to rain again, stopping about lunchtime. time came to ride home and just as i entered my street more water began falling from the sky. im not a religous nut by any means, i dont pray or go to church or any of that funky stuff, but the amount of times it has happened does make me wonder.

while im on the topic of movies, go and see the forgotten. and on a slightly more musical note (get it? ahhahaha) i havn’t decided whether i like the new foo fighters album better than the last yet. i also still havn’t heard a killer song. monkeywrench is still my favorite.

america, fuck yeah!

6/12/2005

Last night i watched madagascar, team america and mr and mrs smith. i would have to say none of them dissappointed. madagascar was a great animanted film with alot of clean and witty humour in the same vein as shrek. team america on the other hand seemed an exact opposite, with in your face, over the top and much random humour. can’t say i’ve ever watched puppets having sex before. my life is now complete. as for mr and mrs smith it is alot like any generic action film with lots of explosions and pointless killing, yet it was strangly enjoyable, probably due to the high injection of humour. you should go see them all.

how long before i get in

6/7/2005

yeah so im still listening to coldplay - x & y, you should go and get it. today was busy as all hell, there were computer orders in places i didn’t know i had places, there was so many. i honestly don’t know how a little place like albury-wodonga go through so many computers and peripherals. seriously. i mean, sure we supply wagga and a few surrounding areas aswell, but that doesn’t mean it still is a massive amount of computers and parts going through all these places. anyway for those that wondered, the place i work at is Valcore Technology, they have a not very impressive site, but it is a site nonetheless, which i hear whispers around the warehouse that they plan to get a new one soon. best bit about me working there is that i can get computer parts at warehouse prices, which is good and cheap! i shall never go to enisun or albury computers again!

from the top of the first page

Seriously, if you don’t have the new coldplay album (x & y) then go out and get it, unless you live in australia (like people from other countries read my site) and you’ll have to wait until sunday. i even thought about buying it (hey for me to think about buying an album is a very big deal) on sunday (it would be the first album i buy since… ever)(though was more a matter of lack of funds more than anything, plus the fact tri-stain provides me with all my music needs.) “how does he know it will be so good?” i hear you ask. well my good friend (hey someone can be a good friend even if you’ve never talked to them or in fact said anything to them other than 1 sentence worth of words, so don’t tell me they can’t) michael_halvorsen directed me to the backup i made of my original album that i… um… lost. yeah, i lost my original that isn’t possible for me to get until sunday…

in other news, tomorrow is my first weekend after a week of work and while i love work, i can’t wait to just do nothing this weekend (or at least saturday because i have a friggen 21st on sunday to go to). in a few weeks ill be driving down the adsl road and will make an effort to finally get my license (yeah im slack, get over it). also some new gamecube games might be up for grabs and a new stereo would be nice, i could also do with a new fridge… puts on coldplay - square one for the 50th time
