so today sucked. in fact i’d go so far as to say it was my worst day at work and all because of one little thing. the server that tracks the warehouse inventory and does invoicing and has basically everything on it was down (being rebuilt from scratch in fact)… for the entire day. this means all the computers and various items had to be tracked on paper or in an excel spreadsheet. it’s amazing just how much things suck if the main computer system is down. between the 4 of us we managed, but it was crazy hard with people ordering more and things being missplaced or written in the wrong place. whats worse is that tomorrow i’ll probably get the job of inputting all the data that we got today, into the server.
i believe in some sort of god(s?), you may be surprised. but seriously he(they?) seems to have a special place for me since whenever its time to ride to/from work the rain stops (more special that those he makes ride to work in the rain) . it hasn’t been just one day but many. last night, for example, it was raining all night and it stopped miracously when it was time to ride to work, it then proceeded to rain again, stopping about lunchtime. time came to ride home and just as i entered my street more water began falling from the sky. im not a religous nut by any means, i dont pray or go to church or any of that funky stuff, but the amount of times it has happened does make me wonder.
heh. data entry boy. God never stops it raining when i’m on my way to uni. but then again, i have a car, so… you know.

Pffft, now you know how people were doing it 10 years ago. You should feel privileged.

There you go, that’s for not thanking him up there. Sure you mentioned what he did for you, but there was no thanks, you cruel and unthankful person you.
