Day 2 and woo

Second day was almost entirely uneventful and what a great day it was. I did the washing and played Tibia. WOO!! Just came back from my Monday driving lesson and it seems I’m not too bad, bit shocking at reversing and parking in general but I’ll get the hang of it. I’m going again tomorrow and this time will be a lot different since it’s in a manual… I’ve never driven a manual before… Might have to do a few practices with Burnout.

Day 1

I was walking down a walking path for no other reason than to be walking when I approached a woman and her daughter who looked no older than 5 or 6 walking towards me.

Me: G’day
Her: Hello
Little Girl: Did he just say “gay?”

I’m not sure if i find it funny because she misheard me, or disturbing that someone so young even has “gay” in her vocabulary as an insult.

I’m muchly looking forward to this weekend. I am really doing nothing so don’t ask. I should just copy my last “not doing anything” post and be done with it, but I wont because you all know I dont anyway. On a slightly less bleak view as my previous entry, I am currently downloading the whole series of technoman!!!! For anyone who watched it, this is big news. Also I’m going for my first official driving lesson on monday. I’m aiming to have my license by the end of the month… well I can hope anyway.

I’m going to complain.

The week so far has been shit, starting with the terrible weather. It’s too bloody hot. My back is hurting terribly and I have no idea why, we have some fucking idiot customers, I’m too poor, I need my P’s (which takes money for lessons) and it’s too friggen hot. Jake is trying to get me to talk to Laura (I did send her an email today, go me), I need more food, my bike is almost broken. I need a new washing machine, I need some shorts for work and I really really want The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. My window is broken and wont open, I’m afraid Bob (my fish) will die in this heat and there simply isn’t enough good music coming out these days. Anyone who gives me sympathy can go root a loaf of bread while listening to the Wiggles, because I don’t want any. /rant

At least Spicks and Specks is on tonight.

Quake III is my current game (drug?) of choice. I have even set up my own server. “V aus” is the name, come and fight me.

Sigh

I have to work tomorrow, so it looks like my weekend of nothing is postponed to next weekend!! Also Laura came in (a girl who a friend at work is trying to set me up with) and noone told me. So of course, me totally not in a prepared state of mind, tripped over myself english wise many times over (more than normal). Anyway bleh! I’m looking forward to nothing next weekend!!!

Quarantine

Before anyone asks, no I will not do anything this weekend. Don’t even ask. Do not come over. Do not ring me. If you can help it, don’t even message me! Seriously, just leave me alone for one weekend. It’s all I ask. Just no.
