See what I did there? I used the Transformers slogan as my blog post so you would know the following will be about me going to see Transformers at the cinema.
It was sweet, no bones about it. One of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. The Transformers themselves were massive and extremely impressively built. The movie had a lot more funnies than I thought going in, and it was action packed with tonnes of explosions and cool stuff going on. Sure it misses out on a few opportunities for character development (the Deceptacons just felt like killing machines when they’ve always been more complex than that) but it more than makes up for it with everything else. Hopefully the sequels will be just as good.
