7 and a half hours later of flight, Rheece and Joel are already complaining. Oh, here is a bit of back story on the flight experience the gang. Rheece has been to Hong Kong and apparently knows everything about it. I have been to Switzerland and know very little about it, Joel hasn’t been anywhere and thus knows nothing about anywhere.
Anyway Rheece, traveller extraordinaire, is sick as a dog and complaining about lack of sleep and on top of that he is in the window seat and for some reason having to get something out of his bag every few seconds followed by a trip to the loo. Joel is having a whinge about not being able to sleep as well. Joel is the kind of person that must get 9 hour of sleep a night or he won’t even get out of bed. It’s currently been nearly 24 hours and he is yearning for some sleeping. To the point where he even wants to have a little nap s soon as we get our hotel in Hong Kong. I would say this was ok however; we’re getting there around midday. What a waste if you go to bed and waste the start of the city!
I managed to get a couple of hours sleep on the flight, which I guess is cool because now waiting at the Singapore airport waiting for the next flight to Hong Kong, Joel and Rheece are sprawled out on the floor and I’m typing this, looking after our gear. I hate long flights.
I wonder if it’s condition of the job at Singapore airlines that to be a flight hostess you must be extremely skinny (though I guess that would help with the aisle walking, and must also look the same as all the rest of them. I think they have a hostess factory that just pumps them out one after the other. Same makeup, same outfits, same body, same hair, its uncanny!
