Made it to New York City today. It was late but we decided to go to Empire State Building to check out the view from the night. Joel and Rheece went up and I stayed down the bottom. I’m not paying $33 bucks to use an elevator.
The time passed very quickly though. Sitting and watching the doors, the people come in and out, there was so many! So many tourists, so many accents, so many big groups. Then a massive rank of Police Cars turned up, around 20 in total. No idea why they were there, they all stayed in the cars and 10 minutes later they left. Then some dude came up to me, quietly asked if I wanted to buy the cds he held in his hand. When I refused he looked mad but left anyway.
NYC is fun and actually feels a lot safer than I thought it would. Going exploring tomorrow.

I never could figure out all the hype over New York. You’ll have to explain what it’s all about when you get it figured out.

i dont buy cds ever, let alone from some dodgy guy trying to sell obviously stolen ones.
